Parents
The Academy reserves the right to dismiss any student who does not respect its Christian standards, cooperate in the education process, or who fails to comply with the standards of conduct and attitude established by the school. There is no refund of tuition and fees in cases of dismissal.
AGAPE International Academy assumes and expects active and substantial parental involvement in the education of their children. The Academy's role is to assist the parents with their God-given responsibility. Therefore, parents are expected to participate in the following activities:
- Pre-Admission Conference. A conference is held each year for new students. Parents must attend this conference before the student's enrollment is considered complete.
- Parent Orientation Night. This meeting will be scheduled prior to the opening of each academic year.
- Parent Information Nights. These nights will be designated to better equip parents for their role and to enhance understanding of the parenting role.
- Nine-weeks Conference. A conference is scheduled at the end of each nine-week period. Parents are expected to attend.
- Daily monitoring and assisting with academic subjects as assigned by the classroom teacher.
- Special activities and programs in which your child will participate.
- Parent Organization. The Parent Organization is designed to support the school staff with ideas and improvement recommendations. The meetings are held monthly or at the discretion of active members of the parent organization.
